TN: Background Slides

Please complete the following background slides:

You must do one background slide of each topic and email to me: sturgilljt@alleghany.k12.nc.us

Helpful Hints
1. Get a large image from the internet and use photoshop to convert to 1920x1080 (go to image, image size in photoshop and make sure constrain proportions is not selected)
2. Use EDIT-FREE TRANSFORM to change the size of text or images
3. Use VIEW- FIT ON SCREEN to enlarge your background
4. Use the magic wand tool to remove a solid color from an image
5. Add shadow or a stroke to your text by going to LAYER-LAYER STYLE-Shadow or stroke
6. Save file as a .psd
7. Go to SELECT-ALL, EDIT-COPY, EDIT-PASTE to transfer a logo to your background

Adobe Photoshop Tutorials

THIS ASSIGNMENT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE BEFORE WHERE I HAD YOU LOOK FOR FINAL CUT PRO TUTORIALS. YOU MUST HAVE A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EACH ONE FOR FULL CREDIT.
Please search the internet for five tutorials related to Adobe Photoshop CS 6 or CS 3 depending on which version is on your computer. You will post a link to all five tutorials as well as provide a detailed description of each one. After you have reviewed all five tutorials, PICK ONE AND COMPLETE THE TUTORIAL. Major Assignment for 2nd Six Weeks

Assignment: To create a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

How to get started:  Your video must be completed in group of two to five. Your video can be on any topic, but must be approved by Mr. Sturgill. You may check out a camera from the Cyber Campus or library to use for making your video. You will have class time to videotape and edit your project.

Grading: In order to receive full credit for your public service announcement, it must include the following parts:
1.       Your video must be 30-90 seconds long.
2.       It must begin with a fade from black and end with a fade to black.
3.       It must include voiceover narration or on camera talent.
4.       It must include background music to enhance your PSA.
5.       It must include the video production techniques you have learned in this class, such as headroom, noseroom and composition.
