The Rule of Thirds - River Brooks
The Rule of Thirds give you an understanding of how to position subjects in the frame if you follow this rule your video shouldn't look dull. By following The Rule of Thirds and not playing your subjects in the direct center of the screen your scene will appear more interesting and visually appealing. If you're still wondering why you should use this simple rule and not just continue placing your subject in the direct middle of the screen I'll tell you, we tend to spend more of our time focused on the corners of the screen not direct in the middle so if you had an important subject you would want people to focus on the subject and not put it directly in the middle. The Rule of Thirds simply states that images may appear more engaging or dynamic when not placed in the center.
